Group your projects and get information about them. Use project portfolios to get reports on a given portfolio, compare portfolios, see revenue for a selected portfolio, find employees to work on your projects.
When working with portfolios, you are seeing the results of all the projects in it. Treat it like a complete collection that you want to compare with another collection. It's the collection you care about, not the individual projects in it.
Mike here from Scoutwest the developers of Standard Time Timesheet.
There’s a project management feature in Standard Time that I think you might dig!
It’s called project portfolios. Take a look!
As you can see from the red items, portfolios are used to collect projects together. All the projects of a certain type are grouped.
That means you can get charts, graphs, and reports for each portfolio of projects.
You want to see the revenue for just the consulting projects? There it is.
Or see resource allocation just for the Sales and Marketing jobs? Got that too.
Nice little project management feature.
